Where Can I Buy Siri
How much did Apple spend? Siri reps wouldn't comment, but given how early the company sold, and how much money it raised -- $24 million -- we assume that somewhere between $100 million to $200 million could be possible. However, Google only spent $50 million on Aardvark, whose software solves a sorta-similar problem.

Our customers want to use Siri to find out all types of information, and while it can find a lot, it doesn't always find what you want. ... These are not intentional omissions meant to offend anyone. It simply means that as we bring Siri from beta to a final product, we find places where we can do better, and we will in the coming weeks.[64]
In June 2017, The Wall Street Journal published an extensive report on the lack of innovation with Siri following competitors' advancement in the field of voice assistants. Noting that Apple workers' anxiety levels "went up a notch" on the announcement of Amazon's Alexa, the Journal wrote: "Today, Apple is playing catch-up in a product category it invented, increasing worries about whether the technology giant has lost some of its innovation edge." The report gave the primary causes being Apple's prioritization of user privacy, including randomly-tagged six-month Siri searches, whereas Google and Amazon keep data until actively discarded by the user,[clarification needed] and executive power struggles within Apple. Apple did not comment on the report, while Eddy Cue said: "Apple often uses generic data rather than user data to train its systems and has the ability to improve Siri's performance for individual users with information kept on their iPhones."[3][76]
The Nuance purchase will complement efforts in recent years, where Microsoft has assigned thousands of employees to its AI work and released tools customers can use to build applications that understand and translate speech, recognize images and detect anomalies. The company views AI as a key driver of future sales of cloud services.
According to Apple, the HomePod mini can provide consistent sound almost anywhere in a room, mimicking the tones of a larger speaker through computational audio. A three-microphone array is designed to listen for Siri commands, and a fourth microphone that faces inward isolates sound coming from the speaker for better voice detection when music is playing.
HomePod mini measures in at 3.3 inches tall and 3.9 inches wide, and it weighs 0.76 pounds, so it's small enough to fit just about anywhere. There's a silicone base at the bottom of the HomePod mini that keeps it in place, and Apple says that the HomePod mini won't leave white rings on furniture like the standard HomePod can do.
Though the HomePod mini doesn't have the same hardware setup, Apple says that it delivers the same 360-degree sound through an acoustic waveguide that directs the sound out of the bottom of the speaker. According to Apple, HomePod mini can be placed anywhere in the room to provide consistent sound.
According to recent news from the auto industry, however, Siri appears to be ready to take her show on the road. Carmakers like Mercedes, GM, Ford and BMW are among those reportedly working with Apple to bring Siri behind the wheel -- where she can provide turn-by-turn directions, make calls and select music [sources: Roy, Woodyard].
Carmakers like GM, Honda and BMW are working with Apple to develop Siri "Eyes Free," which will let users call on Siri by touching a button on the steering wheel. Originally announced by Apple in June 2012, most rough designs of the technology call for a system where drivers connect a Siri capable device through the car's dashboard, rather than buy cars with Siri already built in. That means accessing Siri via an "Eyes Free" app which can be downloaded to phones. Chevy Spark and Sonic owners, for example, can purchase a $50 app to power a full-featured, in-dash navigation system on their cars' big screen. One advantage of this approach is that the technology can be more easily updated than if it was built in [sources: Yvkoff, Albanesius, Woodyard].
Siri can offer shortcuts and other suggestions based on your past use and history from the Search screen. You can control where and when these suggestions appear in the Suggestions From Apple section under Settings > Siri & Search.

Hi,I'm using iOS 16.1 on an Iphone 14 pro, and when I tell siri to reboot my iPhone, it says "sorry, I can't help you with that here". Is there something specific I need to enable to let me do this?
Hi. I wrote a quick script that takes two inputs from the user and based on the two inputs makes a computation and then displays the result. I wanted to enable the script to be run from Siri, but I would like for Siri to get the two inputs from the user by asking the user for the inputs and then receiving the inputs spoken or dictated by the user responding to Siri. I thought that this could be achieved by using Siri arguments, but I have not been able to get the script to run successfully and get Siri to input the information from the user. I did a search on google for siri input shortcuts and found the following two links that caught my attention:
A higher number means the company has more debt to equity, whereas a lower number means it has less debt to equity. A D/E ratio of 1 means its debt is equivalent to its common equity. When comparing this ratio to different stocks in different industries, take note that some businesses are more capital intensive than others. A D/E ratio of 2 might be par for the course in one industry, while 0.50 would be considered normal for another. So it's a good idea to compare a stock's debt to equity ratio to its industry to see how it stacks up to its peers first.
Volume is a useful item in many ways. For one, part of trading is being able to get in and out of a stock easily. If the volume is too light, in absolute terms or for a relatively large position, it could be difficult to execute a trade. This is also useful to know when comparing a stock's daily volume (which can be found on a ticker's hover-quote) to that of its average volume. A rising stock on above average volume is typically a bullish sign whereas a declining stock on above average volume is typically bearish. As they say, 'price follows volume'. The 20 day average establishes this baseline.
While the F1 consensus estimate and revision is a key driver of stock prices, the Q1 consensus is an important item as well, especially over the short-term, and particularly as a stock approaches its earnings date. If a stock's Q1 estimate revision decreases leading up to its earnings release, that's usually a negative sign, whereas an increase is typically a positive sign. The change is made all the more important the closer proximity it is to the stock's earnings date since it is generally believed that the most recent estimates are the most accurate since it's using the most up-to-date information leading up to the report.
Next, consider where you intend to locate the smart speaker; smaller, more compact smart speakers are best suited to bedrooms and kitchens, for setting timers when cooking, while larger smart speakers work in rooms with bigger footprints such as a lounge or dinning room. 041b061a72
